With its floral pattern and color combination, the Couristan Recife Garden Cottage Indoor/Outdoor Rug - Black/Cocoa has a timeless, elegant look. This mold- and mildew-resistant rug is made of 100% polypropylene using flat-weave construction. Made in Belgium, it has a one-year warranty and can be cleaned by spraying with a garden hose.

About Couristan Rugs
For 80 years, Couristan, Inc. has been a powerful name in the area rug and broadloom industry. Owned by the Couri family for two generations and operated today by brothers, the company prides itself on having the most exquisite handmade and power-loomed floor-coverings available from anywhere around the world. Founded in 1926 by two brothers and appropriately named "Couri Brothers," the company began its humble beginnings by importing fine handmade area rugs from Persia. The first area rugs imported by the company were a few shipments of Sparta Rugs from Smyrna. At the time, the company began affixing "Couristan" trademark labels to the back of each and every rug it imported. The company would quickly begin to broaden its horizons, as well as its area rug offerings, by importing rugs from India in 1927. In the 1930s, Couristan began importing handmade hooked rugs from China and braided rugs from Japan.

      Using the rug on our lanai under our large outdoor dining set. It looks beautiful, complements the colors in our brick pavers and does not slide. Pad was not needed because the pavers have texture as well as the back of the rug. Chairs slide easily. Ordered three different sizes.

        We purchased 3 different sizes and they are all beautiful. We bought the rug grippers underneath so they won't slide and that makes a big difference. The quality is excellent and look forward to easy maintenance. They fold out nicely and lay flay very easily, despite being a lightweight fabric.

        [...] This rug is perfect for my back porch. I have a small enclosed porch with a painted wood floor. I ordered the 7.6 ft. square. It really helps bring this small space together. Plus being that it is an outdoor rug, since this is a high traffic area, it will be easy to maintain and keep clean. I really love it!I didn't order the pad and am still thinking about it. May order it later.
